Our Charity Walk, September 2018

It was a lovely autumn day and the weather really helped all out walkers who joined the team for a cause. There were seventeen of us, along with a few toddlers who were there for the fun.

We started from the Gita Bhavan temple and walked via Withington Road to reach the Sri Guru Govind Singh Gurudwara, Whalley Range.

Then we continued down Upper Chorlton Road and Manchester Road, to stop for a hydration break near the Chorlton Library. The tea and coffee was a welcome break for all of us.

We were back at the Gita Bhavan temple and completed 5 KM successfully.

We did loads of catching up with each other, and the day closed with more determination to walk for a cause, as this helps us to keep fit and raises funds for the homeless people around the World.

We raised a total of £412.00, all of which will go towards supporting and feeding the homeless and the poor.
